Bernhard Rosa, born Johann Christoph Rose (1624–1696)

Since 1660 abbot of the Cistercian monastery in Grüssau (Krzeszów); during the counterreformation he worked on popularizing Catholicism and restoring the position of the Cistercian order in Warmbrunn (Cieplice), among others; he expanded the buildings of the provostship and funded murals inside (finished in 1689).
